Amazing Dubuquefest ( Dubuque clock tower pictured above) last night!! What a crowd. That was the best show I've played in a long time! Thank you!
There are a few matters of business to discuss.... :)
First, voting for the MAMAs is officially closed for this year! You can join us on June 2nd for the awards ceremony. There are 13 (!!!) performers this year including yours truly! I cannot wait for the evening. To purchase tickets and learn more about the event click here. This will be my 3rd time attending the MAMAs and it's a blast.
Also, Bello is still competing in Project M Band Edition! You can vote at 1055triplem.com AND by texting "Bello" to 20357 once per day until Monday. There are 5 bands left and they are AMAZING. In addition to us, there is The Family Business, Lucas Cates Band, Whiskey Farm and Sexy Esther. If you ever get a chance to see any of them perform I highly recommend it.

Don't miss Bello's (pictured above) CD release show this Wednesday. It's at High Noon Saloon in Madison, WI. 77 Square recently gave it a "Don't Miss It" saying "the pastoral album is a beauty, colored in violin, acoustic strumming and gorgeous three-part harmonies..." The show starts at 8pm with Elsinore and closes with the Madison band Daniel & The Lion.

This Sunday I'm playing at two great events, both at High Noon Saloon! First, I'll be performing for the Girls Rock Camp and MAMAs Benefit show from 1-3. Then from 5-9 I'll be at the Cheddar Revolution CD Release Show! I play around the end of the 7 o'clock hour but the whole night is jam packed with great music!

It's another great week for shows! This Friday, I'm playing at the National Women's Music Festival Talent Search. (Stiff competition! Come cheer me on!) It's at the Brink Lounge. Saturday night, Scott Lamps and I have the pleasure of playing Kirtan music with David Lincecum and Ken Kloes at Inner Fire Yoga for their Abundance Day Celebration. And finally, on Sunday night, I return to the Broom Street Theater for their Sunday night concert series! All details can be found on my live page!

For those in the Madison area I am playing at Redamte Coffeehouse this Saturday, 3/3. I'm opening for the Brew!! Also, a week from today, 3/6, I'm playing on Mad Toast Live at the Brink Lounge! MTL is a really fun radio program hosted by Chris Wagoner and Mary Gaines!
Music festivals are my absolute favorite shows and I'm looking forward to the summer festival season! Midwest Music Fest will be here before we know it. This year it's April 19th-21st! I'm pleased to be a part of an amazing lineup! Tickets are available now.

Welcome to the newly designed website! There are so many exciting things in the works right now. First of all, I am so pleased to be nominated for 5 Madison Area Music Awards! The first round of voting is open now! There is $5 donation to vote, but all of the money raised goes to putting instruments in kids hands. Beneficiaries include organizations such as Girls Rock Camp Madison, of which I'm a teacher! If you choose to vote you can find me in the following catergories:

Also, I'm the founder and director of the high school female a cappella group Midnight Voices. They are up for an award for Ensemble Vocals so make sure to vote for them as well!
I am hard at work on a new record (a double disc of material)! I can't wait to release it to you all this spring/early summer sometime! Date is TBD. As well as my own material, I am a part of the newly formed Madison "supergroup" (as I like to call it) Bello. We are finishing up a video which will be released very soon. Our CD release show is set for May 16th at High Noon Saloon. Make sure to mark your calendars! I'll be posting more about it as it gets closer.
